Accessibility Design System

When I joined the team, I realized that we urgently needed an accessibility Design System to unify all of Makro Pro's products.

Maknet rebrands itself as Makro Pro. Makro Pro is similar to Costco is the wholesale e-commerce app. They sell products in bulk with a range of products like meat, fresh products, household items, etc.

Process Bottleneck: At the time of joining, we did not have a proper Design System for our software products. This meant that the design team had to use screenshots and re-design the same components over again. This process was slow and unproductive.

Design Inconsistencies: Without a proper Design System we are left with a mess. We had multiple versions of the same components. User flows varied greatly as well.

Scaling Challenges: With so many versions of the same components and all the products having different styles we had a serious problem. We urgently needed a unified Design System for all our products.

Discovery: There are tons of well documented Design Systems available publicly to learn from.
