From paperwork to pixels

01 / 06 — The old way

Insurance used to weigh a briefcase.

Agents arrived with stacks of forms. Clients signed page after page, made copies — then waited days for approval.

02 / 06 — The turning point

One tablet replaces the paperwork.

Keep scrolling — watch the forms disappear into a single digital tool agents can carry anywhere.

03 / 06 — Two audiences

One tool, two audiences.

Every screen had to work in a live sales conversation — for the agent driving it and the client watching.

AIA — Health insurance

Insurance sales, made truly digital.

AIA Group, Asia's largest life insurer, is a Hong Kong-based multinational insurance and finance corporation — comparable to Manulife, Canada's largest insurance provider. I designed the sales tool that took their process from paper to pixels.

How do you make buying insurance faster, easier, and truly digital?

Traditionally, buying health insurance was a tedious experience — agents arrived with a briefcase full of documents, requiring clients to sift through pages, sign multiple forms, make copies, and then wait days for approval.

This outdated process was inefficient, time-consuming and prone to errors, creating friction for both agents and clients.

From briefcase to one tap

As the lead designer, I reimagined the agent–client journey end to end — replacing stacks of paperwork with instant personalised quotes, in-app signatures and real-time application tracking, working closely with research, product, engineering and leadership.
